Dr Rad Ganesh

Dr. Rad Ganesh has over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC and Fan industries. His current responsibilities include product development, customer testing, application support and lab management. Prior to TCF he spent 11 years in product development at the Trane Company. He has 3 patents to his credit and has 7 more pending. He has made several presentations at ASHRAE, AMCA and in company training seminars. He has served on several AMCA and ASHRAE committees. Dr. Ganesh received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1987. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.

Mr Tom Edwards is currently President of TRE Consulting LLC. Tom was a former VP and GM of Johnson Controls Global Air Systems. His experience includes extensive JIT/lean utilization, overseas JV establishment and development, acquisition analysis and synergy execution, customer development, customer-focused information technology tools, supplier development, building code and standards initiatives, and optimized overall operational restructuring for maximizing returns. Additional experience in turnaround management, restructuring, and multi-country acquisitions with a focus of maximizing value to all stakeholders. Extensive experience in CEO, COO and Board of Director roles – including current active member and a Past-President of the Air Movement and Control Association, chairman of the Board of Directors, and leader of several committees, active member of ASHRAE, and AHRI. A U.S. patent holder, a frequent guest speaker, and an active author of many trade journal articles. He has more than 30 years of operational management experience includes proactive product management, developing international operations, distribution development, and aftermarket parts and service organizations. Tom holds an MBA degree from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in both Materials and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee

Mr Franco Cincotti

Mr Cincotti has a Masters’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cagliari University in Italy. Before joining Comefri USA, Mr Cincotti worked in Comefri Italy and at Woods of Colchester in UK. He has many years of experience in the field of fan testing for air and sound performances and fan applications. He is an active member in the AMCA Fan Committee and serves in other AMCA Committees. He is a member of ASHRAE where currently Chairs the Technical Committee TC 5.1 Fans.

Mr Mike Hurrie

Consultant, Systemair Group

Although initially qualifying in the Electrical engineering field Mike’s interest in fluid dynamics, electrics and mechanical engineering were his ultimate ambition. He joined a small fan company at grass roots level and from there moved to the German fan motor manufacturers Ziehl-Abegg and EBMpapst. Mike recently spent the past 7 years as a Product manager (Fans) and later as Export Director for Systemair AB Sweden. This has given him vast experience in variable speed drives and controls. Combining electrical and fan knowledge allowed him to specialize in speed control applications which has now become a norm as more and more ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration designs are based on demand control. This has been accelerated by the European Union’s regulations. Mike is a past President for the South African Institute for Refrigeration and Air conditioning (SAIRAC) where he served on and off the council for the past 25 years.

Mr Thomas Bader

Mr Thomas Bader is a graduated engineer in mechanical engineering with over 30 years’ experience in the fan industry. He started his career as design and applications engineer and transitioned to product management in 1999. Beside his position as head of product management for centrifugal fans at ZIEHLABEGG SE, he is also member of international associations (EVIA, AMCA).

Mr Carlo Barbetta

Mr Carlo Barbetta started work in a Fan Manufacturer Company for 35 years following the application in Metro, rail and road tunnels, the latter represent the main application and development especially in the longitudinal ventilation. He was the MD of the Italian branch until 2008 and then join the Systemair Group with the MD position of the Itallian subsidiary always involved in the underground business. He left his MD position in 2011 and now cooperating with Systemair Group as a consultant for the underground business in South Europe.

Mr Prachanart Neamnam graduated with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is currently the Marketing Manager of Kruger Ventilation Industries (Thailand). He started his career as a Marketing Engineer and has more than 20 years in the ventilation
industry.

Mr Teoh Jye

General Manager for Marketing, Kruger Ventilation Industries Asia

Mr Jye Teoh graduated from Monash University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 and in 2011 he joined Kruger Ventilation in Singapore. He started his career in the R&D department developing the Mix-flow fan. 2 years later he was promoted to R&D Manager, managing the laboratory and product development.

In 2015, he was tasked to lead a team in building a new Kruger regional laboratory facility in Thailand. The laboratory are accredited by AMCA for AMCA 210 and AMCA 300 Air and Sound testing. After the completion of the laboratory and graduating from MBA at the National University of Singapore he was transferred to a new position at Sales and Marketing.

Mr Jye Teoh is the General Manager of Marketing and he manages product development, laboratory and marketing in Kruger Ventilation. He is also a member of the Asia AMCA Steering Committee.

Boonlert has extensive experience in the field of acoustics, noise control and vibration. He had personally handled numerous well-known projects. Mr Soong Peng Soon graduated from University of Malaya in year 1984 and has more than 33 years in the design, manufacturing, construction, testing, operation & maintenance of HVAC system & M&E components. He is highly regarded for his wide hands-on experience from design, start-up to operation of many prestigious projects. He is a professional engineer, an ASHRAE certified Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) and a Green Building Index Certified Commissioning Specialist (CxS), currently overseeing many green building projects and have successfully concluded the final certification of several iconic projects. His contribution in successful evaluation of building performance with exceptional experience, analytical instrument, skills & technique has defined his leading role in this field. He is also a building auditor for Architect Centre, a subsidiary of Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) in providing independent building system audit to the industry and he has been an active & senior member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia.

Ms Tan Tin Tin

Technical Director, Asia AMCA

Ms Tan Tin Tin is currently the Technical Director of Asia AMCA. She graduated with a Degree in Technology majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Ms Tan has been in the ventilation industry for more than 25 years. Prior to becoming the Technical Director of Asia AMCA, she was involved in research
and development of air movement products from prototyping, testing to detailed documentations of the research. She also maintained the test laboratory for the testing of air performance of air movement products. In Asia AMCA, as the Technical Director, she oversees the technical operations of Asia AMCA laboratory as well as the management and training of engineers and technicians. She is also responsible for the administrative operations of AMCA Certified Ratings Program in the Asia Region, including but not limited to the technical reviewing of the catalogue ratings.

Mr Nicholas Ang

Mr Nicholas Ang, a Vice President since April 2009, holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, a Master Degree of Science in Fire & Safety Engineering and a Master Degree of Science in Building Services Engineering both from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Mr Ang is also registered as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineering Council UK and a Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE). Mr Ang first joined WOLTER GmbH+Co. KG in 2007 and is currently based in WOLTER’s Asia-Pacific Head office in Hong Kong. He has worked extensively in matters involving technical sales, fan design & engineering, and is also instrumental in the development of the Company’s first AMCA Accredited Air Performance and Sound Testing laboratory in Asia. He is the past chairman of Asia AMCA marketing committee and currently still an active member.
